Application for Japan’s Friendship Ties Program “MIRAI” 2025/2026 is Open!

This short-term youth exchange program invites graduate and undergraduate students, as well as young professionals who study or work in the field of law, to Japan.
Application period: September 16 – October 15, 2025
Japan Visit Term: January 14-20, 2026
The theme set for Tajikistan this year is «Rule of Law»
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Tajikistan
- Age: Between 20 and 30 at the time of departure from Tajikistan to Japan (January 15, 2026)
- Target group: Graduate and Undergraduate students who preferably study legal field related to business and administrative cases, young professionals who are preferably engaged in large scale business on administrative cases, lawyers, legal administrative officers, or private company staff in charge of law.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for discussion on relevant topics with other participants
- Good academic background
- Good health condition
- Previous Experience: Must not have participated in a Japan visit program funded by the Japanese Government in the past and must not have lived in Japan for more than 6 months in the past.
Required Documents:
1. Valid passport copy
2. Letter of Understanding for Visiting Japan Program
3. “Handling of Personal Information and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Privacy Policy” (refer to Annex 2 and Annex 3 in the online application form)
4. “Academic Transcript” or “Certificate of Enrolment”
5. Photo
